

Temple Introduction
Fa Chan Temple is a temple which follows the authentic Tathagata teachings of Namo SakyamuniBuddha, Namo Dorje Chang Buddha III, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions.
The temple aims to lead more Buddhist disciples to learn the true Tathagata Dharma, benefit livingbeings, attain achievement and liberation from the cycle of birth and death, and at the same timealso to contribute to the prosperity of the United States and the safety of its peoples, social stability,and world peace.
Fa Chan Temple is located in the City of Hesperia in Southern California. It has been approved tobe built at a holy site of Buddhism—within Holy Heavenly Buddhist Town. Now, a preparatory officefor the construction of Fa Chan Temple has been set up on the shore of Holy Heavenly Lake. At theentrance of the temple grounds is a statue of Namo Statue-ia Bodhisattva. On the right is a Buddhahall dedicated to the Three Jewels of the Sutra. On the left is an extremely dignified mandala withthe Dorje Chang Buddha Lineage Refuge Tree.
Temple Activities
The temple currently holds Dharma assemblies to commemorate the holy birthdays of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Such as: Respectfully Honor the Holy Birthday of His Holiness Dorje Chang Buddha III Dharma Assembly, Namo Sakyamuni Buddha Dharma Assembly, Namo Guan Yin Bodhisattva Holy Birthday Dharma Assembly, Namo Medicine Buddha Dharma Assembly, Namo Amitabha Buddha Holy Birthday Dharma Assembly, Namo Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Holy Birthday Dharma Assembly, Ullambana Dharma Assembly, Great Compassion Repentance Dharma Assembly, etc. On every first and fifteenth day of the lunar month the temple will hold a Grand Offering to the Buddhas Dharma Assembly. There are Dharma listening sessions each day. On Sundays we have Zen practice. Occasion-ally there will be life release Dharma Assemblies.
